Google Play Services & Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to monitor app usage, detect errors, and improve performance. This data is collected anonymously.

To keep the App free, we display advertisements. AdMob may use your Advertising ID and device information to serve personalized ads. Specifically, "Rewarded Ads" are monitored to unlock the premium camera feature.
Google Cloud Vision API (Image Recognition)
The "Scan Ingredients" feature uses the Google Cloud Vision API to analyze your photos. The images you upload are processed solely for the purpose of detecting food labels (ingredients) and are not permanently stored or used for other purposes by us.

Artificial Intelligence (OpenRouter / Claude AI)
Your input ingredients and preferences are shared with our AI provider, OpenRouter (using the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model), to generate personalized recipes. No personal identity information is shared during this process; only the context required for recipe generation is transmitted.
3. App Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Camera (CAMERA): Required to capture photos of ingredients for scanning.
- Storage/Gallery (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES): Required to select existing food photos from your device gallery.
- Internet (INTERNET): Required for AI recipe generation, loading advertisements, and accessing image recognition services.
4. Data Security and Retention
We value your trust in providing us your information. All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. Your favorite recipes and app settings are stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage).
Recipe data stored on our servers (Backend API) is anonymous and not linked to any specific user identity. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
5. AI & Content Disclaimer
Health & Safety Warning: The recipes in this application are generated automatically by Artificial Intelligence (AI). PraticaLabs does not guarantee the accuracy of nutritional values, the absence of allergens, or the complete feasibility of the generated recipes.
Users should use their own culinary judgment when following recipes and check ingredients for potential allergies. PraticaLabs cannot be held liable for any health issues, allergic reactions, or damages resulting from the use of this application.
6. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
